wonderful-team-readership-award

Fae, my ardent fan from Fae’s Twist and Tango blog, has nominated me once again, this time for the Wonderful Team Readership Award.

Fae was born in Iran but raised in Japan until 1971, when she moved to the United States. She loves to tango. And, the “twist” in her title is the twist she gives to her delightful international recipes. Fae is a world traveller and quite a storyteller. She is an enthusiastic lover of blogs. One day I got 87 “likes” from Fae!

As I’ve written before, in another star!, I appreciate these awards because I appreciate the honor, but then I get to spread the love with the blogs I’ve been following. There are so many talented bloggers out there in the blogosphere, and it’s great to get exposed to them, as well as expose the ones I love, through these honors.

Here are the rules for when you receive this award:

1 Visit and thank the blogger who nominated you.

2 Acknowledge that blogger on your blog and link back.

3 Nominate 14 blogs for the award, a link to their blogs in your post, and notify them on their blogs.

4 Copy and paste the award on your blog somewhere.

Favorite Blogs:

Frugal Feeding – you don’t even realize that it’s all about frugality in this man’s blogs – the food and photography are delightfully rich!

Karistas Kitchen – Karista works as a personal chef and cooking teacher, but her photos are equally as impressive as her food!

The Dreamery – Diana’s blog is very inspirational in many ways. She’s also a pastry professional.

Just a Smidgen – Canadian Smidge, aka Barbara, lives life through her culinary arts, as well as her other artistic inspirations.

Natural Euphoria – This female blogger is sharing her love of food, cooking, and photography, all the while staying fit and fabulous!

My French Heaven – Stephane is a marvel in the kitchen, behind the camera, and on the computer. Here’s hoping for a book deal soon!

Bam’s Kitchen – Bam’s blog is all about internationally inspired food that even teenagers enjoy! Her real name is Bobbi!

Kat and the Falling Leaves – Kat’s blog is all about her life, which includes food and travel. And, her beautiful cat. Check out http://thekatandthefallingleaves.wordpress.com/2012/12/24/merry-christmas-from-dina/408669_10150495506062002_1675515754_n/.

Feed the Piglet – The best blog name I’ve encountered, written by Johnny, who was trained as a chef. But his blog posts are about his home cooking. He also has quite a sense of humor!

Baker Bettie – This very young woman’s name is actually Kristin, and she’s very new to cooking, baking, and photography. Looks to me like she’s quite accomplished!

Garden Kitchen – Sarah is a New Zealander. She’s a gardener, cook, and artist. The blog is very impressive.

Stefan’s Gourmet Blog – I’ve already joked with Stefan that his blog is really an encyclopedia! My sous vide that I got for Christmas finally, see Christmas Wishes, is on order and Stefan’s blog will be an invaluable resource http://stefangourmet.com/sous-vide/.

Garden Walk, Garden Talk – Donna is a Master Gardener, but also an incredible photographer and talented artist. Check out her starling photos!

Single Gourmet and Traveller – Kay’s blog is all about being single, loving food and cooking, and travelling. But don’t feel sorry for her about the single part! She lives in London and is loving life!

Tortore – Darya is young, but is exuberant about food and cooking. She cooks with culinary curiousity! And she’s adorable!
